Near to the city centre without being right in the heart of the city with plenty of choice around it

Gary Ireland

The staff was fantastic and made us feel very welcome! They were friendly and helpful, even when we needed to print out a few things. They gave great advice on what to do locally and beyond. Coming from the airport without a car was easy, just one bus and a very short walk. Ideal location within walking distance of the park and tons of shopping and restaurants. The room we stayed in was spacious with a tall window, elaborate crown moldings, and a nice little seating area. We stayed here for 2 weeks and have already booked another 2 with them in a couple of months.

Paul Canada

location was close to city centre, clean and comfortable rooms, lovely staff

Grenna Ireland

Great location staff are super friendly and very helpful. Great value for the price we paid

Sarah Ireland

We like the location of the hotel, it is in the city center but not noisy and perfect for traveling with family. It is walking distance to St. Stephen park, Grafton street, and the national museum. We also like the design of the hotel and the room is large. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.

Andi Ireland

The property was very nice, the staff were exceptional. They couldn’t be any more helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Jill Canada

The famous "cold" Irish breakfast is great! Fresh fruit salad, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, Irish cheeses, cold Limerick ham, pastures, and the best bread in Dublin, plus tea, coffee and juice.

Room nicely appointed and uncramped. Generous with heating, appreciated on a typical wet and cold Dublin day. Good location near the tram. Also, very close to airport bus terminus ... just stay on till end of line. You won't get lost. Property appears to be converted set of two or three town houses "pasted" together. Beats dull, commercial appearance of most places.

Anton United States of America

The rooms are very comfortable, the location is great, and the affordable breakfast is very good. All of the employees were kind and professional. The rooms are a good size and very clean with great bathrooms. We have a unique perspective because we stayed in a private room at a hostel about half a block away and while we love this neighborhood (tons of shops and restaurants and right by St. Stephen’s Green), felt the room at the other place was very small, sparse, and not very comfortable. For about 30% more money we were able to get our room at Albany House, which was about 300 times better (and still very affordable). Highly recommend!

Stay in the heart of Dublin – Excellent location – show map

In the heart of the Georgian city of Dublin, this 3-star property features traditional dècor and furnishings. It was built in the 18th century, and was once part of the Earl of Clonmel’s estate.

Located near St Stephen’s Green, Albany House is a fully nonsmoking and privately owned residence. It's just a 5-minute walk from Dublin's main shopping street, Grafton Street, or the main entertainment district of Temple Bar.

As there is not elevator in the property, all rooms are accessed by stairs only, and each room with attached bathroom comes with cable TV and facilities for making tea and coffee. There is a 24-hour front desk, and free WiFi is available throughout the building.

A Continental breakfast is served each morning and there is a wide variety of bars and restaurants within a short walk. Guests can choose from a selection of continental options, served in the Albany's breakfast room.

This is our guests' favorite part of Dublin, according to independent reviews.

Couples in particular like the location – they rated it 9.3 for a two-person trip.

    How does it work?

    • 1

      It starts with a booking

      It starts with a booking

The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

      Followed by a trip

      Followed by a trip

When guests stay at the property, they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff is, and more.

    • 3

      And finally, a review

      And finally, a review

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.
