IrelandThe family was so nice! I had come down with a cold on my last day and they were so nice about getting me honey for my tea and providing directions. It is the perfect location if you're traveling around. We rented a car at the airport and wanted to be near the Dublin Airport for our flight but didn't want to drive into Dublin and fight to find parking. It was 45 mins. to the airport and really easy to navigate. The room itself was very comfortable with beautiful linens. We had a shared bathroom but it was located in a great place and was very clean. It didn't feel shared at all. The breakfast was delicious and on beautiful china. There was another couple staying so we got to chat and it felt really comfortable and friendly.

1 Millford is centrally located in a little village called Athgarvan, Co. Kildare. Approx 3km from the M7 Motorway with direct access to Dublin Airport (40 mins) and City or alternatively many Southern & Western towns including Wexford, Limerick, Cork, Waterford, Kilkenny to name a few. Local amenities include the oldest golf club in Ireland, The Royal Curragh. The Curragh Racecourse is a five minute drive and hosts the Irish Derby annually. Punchestown Racecourse a fifteen minutes. Fishing on the River Liffey - a five minute walk. Other attractions include Donnelly's Hollow, St Brigids Cathedral and Round Tower, The world famous Newbridge Silverware with its free entry Museum of Style, The National Stud and Japanese Gardens, Kildare Village Designer Outlet Centre, Riverbank Theatre - Newbridge, Moat Theatre - Naas.
