The lady who owns this B and B was very helpful and kind. Well recommend spot!!

Beautiful view and very well-appointed room. Many extra touches and very modern bath fixtures made our stay special. Thanks!

A very secluded place with lovely lake views, next to a pub/restaurant. Quiet and suited my needs.

The room was clean and comfortable with a nice view, there was a large modern ensuite bathroom and breakfast was good. The B&B is a short walk from The Piper's Inn.

Great views, really well appointed and thoughtful facilities & a fine breakfast, all for a decent rate, and with a very good bar restaurant next door. Recommended!

friendly, helpful owners with a pub within a short walk serving good food.

Very nice modern room with a lovely view across the lake. Local pub/restaurant served exceptional food.

Owner was very welcoming and chatty and the breakfast was very nice.

Amazing cottage, lovely furnished, with a dramatic lake view

Booked late evening and was warmly welcomed great breakfast

Family owned farm bed and breakfast in a beautiful location over looking Lough Derg and on the foot of Sliabh Bearnach mountain for those who want a scenic walk. It is a very quite and peaceful location, with fantastic views from any point of this house. Located just next door is an award winning restaurant which serves excellent food and also has music during the summer months. This single story house is twenty six years old and is heated by oil and also using solar panels to heat the water. This is a working farm which have a beef heard and also two ponies which my daughters enjoy. There is a sitting room for guests with an open stove and also shy channels. Also we have a private garden with patio table so that you can enjoy a cup of tea or wine in our breath taking views of Lough Derg, some people like to bring their lunch and have it in the garden.
My name is Geraldine and I am married to Paddy we have three children age 20, 22,24,We have lived in this house for the last 26 years. We built this house on Paddy's fathers home farm. It was originally a three bed room house but we have extended it twice. I started Bed and Breakfast 26 years ago. I started by taking the over flow from the Pipers Inn and decided that I enjoyed it and continued to expand my business. I am also a pre-school teacher and work locally in the community crèche in Mountshannon
We have an award winning restaurant just min walk but booking is advised in advance particular during the weekends. We are also very near The University Activity Centre for all your water sports activities. There is fishing on Lough Derg with local boat hire in the near by town of Killaloe. We are also on the track of the East Clare trail for the people who like to get away from the bustle of the cities and bright lights.
