Bed and Breakfast Ballynona House
Midleton, Co.Cork Ballynona House, Ballynona South Ballynona House, Midleton, Ireland – Great location - show map
Everything was ok, the room and the bathroom was clean. The bed was comfortable.

Kamla is simply a wonderful hostess! So attentive and thoughtful. Great recommendations for navigating the surrounding countryside. We would stay again!

The Ballynona House is one of the most beautiful and fantastic places I’ve stayed. It’s cozy and immediately felt like home. It was the perfect place for my husband and I to stay on our journey around Ireland. We needed somewhere that was slower paced and peaceful. This was definitely the perfect pick.

The charming hostess who could not do enough to make my stay a very welcome one.

The host and the hospitality and the extra effort made to make the stay comfortable

Kamla the host is very nice. Thanks for everything Kamla

Lovely quaint house in the country. The room and bathroom were large, everything was comfortable and homely - nice country atmosphere with friendly dogs and cats around. Kamla the hostess was friendly and helpful, there was a beautifully presented breakfast. She left the house and rescued me when Google maps got me lost - weather conditions were bad and internet was disturbed. In fact the house is only a few kms from Midleton. I would be delighted to stay again whenever I might be in the area

A lovely house that was made feel like a home by the warm welcome we received from Kamla. A gorgeous breakfast, freshly cooked in the morning and a great chat with Kamla while we enjoyed the lovely view from the kitchen. We will definitely stay again if we make it back to Cork and would not hesitate to recommend Ballynona House as a great place to stay.

The breakfast was excellent and the patron very attentive to detail.

Loved this house, over 120 years old, still has it's old charm , the owner Kamla is lovely, great breakfast, great shower also and comfy bed, her dogs were lovely as well, loved their cuddles, will def stay again .

Ballynona is set among rambling picturesque agricultural lands. It is quite peaceful and a very friendly family home. It is a large house and was built in 1893. A great to write, paint , or if you have just broken up with someone you loved we have lots of tissues. You do need a car to reach us.
There are plenty of sights to visit. There is the famous Ballymaloe restaurant. Jameson Whiskey Distillery . The Titanic center in Cobh. Seaside and Castles all a stones throw away.Midleton has a growing population, employed locally in retail, light manufacturing, food production, tourism and whiskey distilling. At nearby Whitegate is the state's first gas-fired power station as well as Ireland's only oil refinery. Many Midleton residents also commute to jobs in Cork, Carrigtwohill and Little Island. Traditionally the main commercial and retail area of the town was on the Main Street and this continues to offer varied shopping primarily with local ownership. In recent years the commercial part of Midleton has expanded to the old site of Midleton Mart, now called Market Green. A number of multinational retailers have established themselves in Midleton including Tesco, Lidl, McDonalds, Boots, Aldi and Subway
