Our host was so accommodating and friendly. she gave us many breakfast options which was appreciated. we even sampled her delicious pound cake with our evening tea. the house itself was immaculately clean the views of the ocean were didn’t hurt the eye either.

Hilltop was absolutely delightful. Stunning views from EVERY room, excellent and convenient location and our host, Teresa, went above and beyond to make us comfortable and happy. Teresa told us some of her local knowledge that led me to finding our ancestral home and meeting a cousin!!! How can you get any better than that? Here you will find excellent breakfasts, kind and dedicated hosts and a true Irish welcome. We will be back.

I stayed in this B & B for four nights. I am so glad I stayed here. The host Teresa greeted me warmly when I arrived. She had very kindly baked fresh scones for me! When Teresa found out that I have a special diet, she went off and bought special food for me which I didn't expect and really appreciated. The breakfasts were massive and delicious. The bedroom was very quiet. I slept very well. The bedroom was warm, clean and bright. From the B and B I was easily able to drive around to different places. After four days I felt rested, calm and rejuvenated. I really recommend Hilltop B and B

  • My husband uses a mobility scooter 1100mm long and590mm wide. Would he be able to take it inside? He can walk short distances with his sticks. I see it is all on the ground floor so I take it there are no stairs.
    Hi Thank you for your enquiry. Unfortunately Hilltop B& B has 2 steps upto the door and also our hall and Rooms would not adequately have room for your mobility scooter. I would suggest you try Glencarrig B&B near Carrigaholt.

  • Looking at flights into Shannon. Easy to get to you? Family of 5. /5/27-30. Want to hike, see cliffs of Moher. Are you close to pubs/restaurants? 🙂
    We are 1hr 30 min from Shannon Airport. We are just off Wild Atlantic Way on Loophead Peninsula. Lots of Hiking/Walking Trails in the Area with amazing Scenery. We are 1hr 30 min to Cliffs of Moher. We are 5km to nearest pubs/restaurant

  • Hi Does one of your double bedrooms have a single bed as well. I am booking for 3 blokes who are doing all of the wild atlantic way on motorbikes, so need one room with two singles and one single room. 2 rooms. Don't worry we are all in our 70s. Would there be anywhere to have an evening meal .
    Hi Superior Room has Double and Single bed..and other 2 rooms have double beds only. All rooms are €70 single occupancy or €85 for double occupancy. Teresa

Hilltop B&B is located on the Loophead Peninsula, winner of the Responsible Tourism 2015 Best place to holiday, and also on the Wild Atlantic Way scenic drive. The B&B has one of the best views on the Loop Head Peninsula, overlooking the Atlantic ocean to the west and the Shannon river to the south. It has easy access to the fishing villages of Carrigaholt and Kilbaha, and is also close to the sea-side town of Kilkee with its beautiful sandy beach and the spectacular cliff scenery. Failte Ireland approved accommodation The house has 3 standard and ensuite guestrooms providing quiet and comfortable accommodation for single travellers as well as couples and for families. Guest facilities include TVs in the guest bedrooms and in the lounge, free WiFi, Hairdryers, Guests Fridge storage facility, free secure parking, as well as coffee- and tea-making facilities. Packed lunches and sandwiches are also available. There are music instruments like concertina, piano accordion, concert flutes and whistles available for guests to play music session in house if they wish. There are traditional Music sessions available locally in bars. Electric Bike Hire, Dolphinwatching Trips, Watersport...
