Your retreat awaits you! Welcome to our stylish double room with king size bed and private bathroom boasting a walk-in shower, where you will receive a warm welcome from our family, including our two adorable small dogs, Penny and Carlos. Start your day with a delicious breakfast and tea and coffee, then unwind in the outdoor seating area or take a plunge in the invigorating ice bath. Explore the nearby town, shops, forest walks, and bay, with the beach & Sligo town just 10 minutes away. * The property is a spacious, light-filled dormer with a large outdoor area with seating where you can enjoy sunrise and sunset with a mountain and forest view. Breakfast, tea and coffee can be served outside in our beautiful garden. However if you prefer to be cosy indoors, you can enjoy breakfast at the dining table in our contemporary kitchen. * The room is equipped with two bedside lockers, one chest of drawers, an armchair and a full length mirror. Your private bathroom is modern and spacious with a large walk-in shower. Towels, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel are provided. Guests can feel free to sit back and relax on the sofa, where you can curl up with a book, play board games, strum some songs on our acoustic guitars, kick off a singsong session, or join us for a tea and chat. You will have private access to your room and bathroom and shared access to the sitting room, dining area and outdoor patio. * We have the following available for guests: a selection of board games, two acoustic guitars, yoga mats, free weights, *an ice bath (*additional charge). * ** Breakfast options can include: granola + fresh fruit + yogurt / toast with selection of jams + cheese / eggs done your way + toast. A selection of herbal and black teas are available and you can choose your favourite coffee - latte, americano, espresso. Non-dairy milk options are available too. I am your host, Lydia, and after living abroad for many years, I now live in Sligo with my family and am thoroughly enjoying the beauty that the North West has to offer. In our spacious family home, we have a garden equipped with outdoor seating, an ice bath (for anyone into cold water therapy) and two cute dogs, Penny and Carlos. In our family we speak English, Spanish, French and Italian and we love to travel the world and meet new people. We are happy to offer advice on activities and local attractions. Quiet family-oriented neighbourhood with all amenities within 5 minutes walking distance - a cute Irish pub (with top class Guinness!), supermarket, pharmacy, hairdressers, beauticians, nearby forest walks, Ballisodare bay. There is also a laundrette 5 minutes drive away. Sligo town and nearest beaches are only a short 10 minutes drive away. Both Strandhill beach (a famous surfing beach with the brand new National Surf Centre which newly opened in June 2023) and Rosses Point beach (a well-known beach for sea swimming and it's fabulous outdoor sauna, The Hot Box) are both only 15 minutes drive away. We highly recommend checking out the outdoor sauna with their picturesque ocean views from inside the sauna! Truly breathtaking and rejuvenating! Lovely Leitrim is 20 minutes away and Donegal is 40 minutes drive away. Everything is at your doorstep here!
