A lot has changed from those Viking days, and Dublin is now famous for its literary history and the most green spaces of any European capital, making Dublin a real Irish gem.
Dublin Castle is at the heart of the city's history and Trinity College houses the renowned Book of Kells, a beautifully illustrated manuscript from circa 800 AD. The Ha’penny Bridge is the city’s most photographed landmark and the statue of Molly Malone celebrates the heroine of Dublin’s unofficial anthem.
Dublin is home to many important literary figures including Oscar Wilde, William Yeats, Samuel Beckett and George Bernard Shaw. As the famous location of James Joyce’s “Ulysses”, the city offers tours tracing the protagonist’s footsteps.
As one of the youngest European cities, Dublin has vibrant nightlife with the popular Temple Bar area and plenty of bars and pubs, which invite you to stay out until the wee hours of the morning.
Dublin Airport is the gateway to your Irish vacation, so whether you’re looking for a stylish hotel, an independent apartment or a trendy hostel, Booking.com has a perfect deal for your Dublin trip.
The people were very friendly and ready to help. We probably didn't choose the best dates for our stay because it did rain most of our stay there, but when the sun shone it was very pleasant and not too hot(march). We enjoyed the museums, walking along the river, and of course the local pubs. The city is very international, as lots of languages can be heard on its streets and you probably will not feel lonely. Overall my family and I enjoyed our short stay there and I would gladly return to this lovely destination.

A great city to catch up on history and museums with a lively nightlife.
Temple Bar aimed at mainly tourists with deep pockets but Fitzsimons on the corner of Temple Bar running parallel to the river liffey is a great spot for some Irish music throughout the day and have decent food with a good vibe when busy in the evening as well as when quiet in the daytime.
Very touristy but for those who want history and culture it is all there. Glad we did it but wouldn't do a 4 night stay again as so aware that there was lots of great natural scenery not far from the city. Definitely a young person's city. It would be almost impossible to not have a great time in Dublin if you were looking for it. A good benchmark for finding you around the city is figure out which side of the river you are on and if lost or unsure of yourself realign yourself with the river and you can't go wrong.

It lacks charm, it's super expensive, full of tourists (not sure why), and it really hasn't much to offer. After a couple of days you realise why not a single famous Dubliner, from Joyce to U2, chose to live there. The only good thing about it is the airport, don't bother staying there. Anywhere else in Ireland is much better.

Dublin is not the best city I have been to, but it has its charm. Irish people are just wonderful, kind and warm!! Dublin concerning prices is not the cheapest. Beer/wine or other alcoholic drinks are extremely expensive comparing to other EU countries with Euro prices. Weather is also not the greatest there, but we had luck and sun for 3 days with wind and rain :) Clothes are not expensive, normal prices and nice brands. Supermarket prices also not the lowest. Worth to see an old cemetery and archaeological musem (Free entrance). Worth for sure to go by train to Howth, if you like the nature you will be amazed. We did 12 km tour and it is memorable! So I do recomend Dublin, but do not expect too much.

Most striking for me is the combination of old and new.
Most striking for me is the combination of old and new. Most of the buildings, in most parts of Dublin, are old, but well maintained and create a whole very nice view. But a few new buildings appeared, still in line with the old ones, which creates even nicer views. There are lot of places to visit, from all area of interest: historical, cultural, entertainment etc. These visits are easily accessible with the help of the multitude of punctual buses.
Most people are friendly and the multitude of ethnics around creates an interesting experience.
An very unpleasant aspect is that the streets are quite dirty, filled with litter and garbage and also a lot of beggars and homeless people.
We enjoyed our stay in Dublin, the stuff was friendly and helpful.
The location is good, close enough to the city centre and main attractions. Calm street with pub options nearby.
The closest Lidl I would recommend to avoid, but the one across the bridge is just perfect if you wish to buy local cheese, some wine and etc.
It was really nice to have a kitchen with all facilities that can help to recharge after the day in the city.
We're satisfied with the stay, and I'll keep my eye on this hotel chain around the world.
The hotel, located in the center of Ireland, is a classic American-style Hampton with all its amenities. The price and location are excellent, but above all, the incredible service stood out. I went to Ireland for my birthday, and Lucia, one of the sweetest and most attentive individuals I've encountered, took care of me. She made me feel incredibly special on my day, and I am very grateful for her attention and dedication to her work. Aleksej at the reception was also very kind. Honestly, a 100/10 in customer service!
Amazing experience from start to finish. As it was our honeymoon, they upgraded us to the Royal Suite at no extra charge. The suite was simply the best place we've ever stayed. Rainwater shower, huge comfortable 4 poster bed, and our own observatory complete with telescope so we could see all of Dublin. The meals were good and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We loved our stay at Clontarf and we will be back when we visit Ireland again!
The advertising of this facility was misleading. I would have never paid €325 for a room with a bed, two chairs, no towels and shared toilets and shower. The locks did not work on toilets or bedroom in doors, owner had to work on my bedroom door to make it work properly.
Any attempt to find another place was impossible due to France/Ireland Rugby Match that night. THIS IS NOT A HOTEL, it is what I would consider a Hostel, with a private room.
I loved this hotel, maybe my favourite hotel in Dublin along with sister hotel The Mayson! The staff were so friendly, and the rooms are fab! The food was so good, and location is perfect for access to everything in Dub City Centre by foot! The heated outdoor pool was my favourite part, also checking out at 12 and being able to use the facilities after check out made ahuge difference to our stay
Surprisingly good hostel in Dublin city centre . I usually don't stay in hostels but this is definitely one of the better ones out there . Had an early morning flight to catch and the usual Dublin hotels were really expensive and this place was really good , there was 6 in a room but you had your own cubicle and a bit of privacy so I would definitely stay there again in the future .
The room was lovely, spacious and very clean. The bed was super comfortable. The facilities were excellent, the TV was a good size and nice to have a coffee maker. The location was excellent with shops and cafes around and the city centre within easy reach. The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. The price was reasonable for a fairly central hotel in Dublin.
The staff was amazing and very welcoming. They gave us great suggestions for breakfast places nearby and were always ready to help out. The hotel is very close to a major shopping area and a 10 minute walk from Connolly Train Station which is helpful if you want to take public transit to other parts of Ireland. We walked everywhere in Dublin and it was great.
The hotel is next to the Herbert Park. The park itself beautiful, very green. It was nice to take a stroll around the park. It’s a nice and quiet area. However it takes a good half an hour to walk to St. Stephen’s Green in the city centre, so be mindful if you plan to do sightseeings in Dublin as there will be lots of walking.
The staff was exceptional. My room was very clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. Stayed in 4 different hotels in Ireland and this was by far my favorite. Had air conditioning which was wonderful due to the heat wave of the first few days. Great breakfast buffet.
The hotel was ideally located for our group to go watch the Ireland v Wales women play at the Rds stadium (Leinster ground) and short walk to plenty of local drinking and eating places ..also we thought the hotel was great value for money
I expected this to be a low budget hotel. But it was honestly one of my favorite hotel rooms in Ireland. The bed was comfy. The pillows were comfy. The room was well decorated without being over the top. They had ac. It was great.
Great location in the city centre! The breakfast was amazing. The staff was very helpful. I would definitely stay here again. Very nice hotel to end my stay in Ireland. Bathroom was clean and had full-size bath.
Came up for Ireland match with my son. Stayed 1 night. Great location. Near to the Aviva Stadium, about 10/15 minute walk. Cheaper alternative to city centre hotel prices. Clean, tidy, comfortable apartment.
Perfect location if you want to explore the Temple Bar area. The hotel meets the expectation of the Radisson group. Breakfast is typical for Ireland and has all you need.
