A unique getaway with tons of character that has everything you need on your doorstep from local friendly pubs to the wonderful Lough Durg and it’s shoreline of adventures for you to enjoy. It’s also a great base for exploring the wild Atlantic way and the superb towns of Galway, Limerick, Birr and Ennis, not to mention a pet friendly home! We offer a guest a pass for paddle boarding and not to mention for a small fee the hot tub to enjoy at the end of a hard day of fun!

The property is attached to the main house but separate by locked doors so you have complete privacy but we live in the main house (some of the time) and if we are not there we are always available at all times by phone and most of the time will be with you within 1/2 hour if we are needed. I’m a chatterbox and probably send too much information but I am also aware that my guest like they’re privacy so I like to meet you to make sure your arrival is seam free and then unless you need me you have full privacy.
In the immediate vicinity of the cottage there are some great walks and tracks. There is also an equestrian centre five minutes from the property, as well as the magnificent lough Durg famous for its fishing and its fabulous Lake Shore villages and picturesque drives. You are also 15 minutes from Durg Isle activity Center and I leave a voucher for two for you to enjoy paddle boarding or a lake boat trip if the weather is acceptable, talk to us during you stay to arrange 😊
The cottage is rural, the closest restaurants pubs & shops are a five minute drive, therefore you will need a car to make the most of this fabulous space. PS, There are local taxi’s for those who are looking to enjoy a drink or two!
