Property info

Rock Farm Slane is a glamping, ecotourism and activity centre and organic farm on the Slane Castle estate stretching for 1.5km along the banks of the River Boyne. We have many different types of accommodation including our eco guests lodge the Lime House and glamping. We are set in the heart of the Boyne Valley and only 10 minutes from Newgrange. We are less than five minutes from Slane Whiskey Distillery where you can have a tour of Slane Castle and the distillery. There are lots of other historical sites in the area including Trim Castle, Monasterboice Abbey, Hill of Tara and Hill of Slane. The Farm Office has a small shop selling meat, eggs, salads and veg from the farm as well as a few local produce from the Slane Food Circle and other great local producers including, cheese and local veg. Slane village is only a 10-20 minute walk from Rock Farm. In the village you will find lots of good pubs some of which do traditional music sessions. There are delis, cafes and restaurants.
