Perfect place when you want to wake up to a sea view... Great response to a special request.
NetherlandsFrom check in to check out the service was fantastic. At check in a lovely man greeted us with a warm smile and explained everything to us from breakfast to dinner and the facilities of the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable and the air conditioning was easy to use as was the heating in the room. The pool was clean and local people use the fitness areas of the pool but comfortable not over crowded. The hotel was clean and well kept and staff were attentive at breakfast which i liked.

Overlooking the famous Salthill Promenade, Galway Bay and the Clare Hills, this elegant hotel features a 30 yards swimming pool, a whirlpool, and a large gym. Just 0.6 miles from Galway city centre, it is set in Galway’s beautiful countryside on the scenic route to Connemara National Park.
With flat-screen TVs with cable channels, rooms at Salthill Hotel all feature free WiFi, and free tea and coffee. Rooms also include an en-suite bathroom with a hairdryer and toiletries. Some rooms also enjoy beautiful sea views.
Full Irish breakfasts are served each day, and The Amber Room and Prom Restaurants serve a variety of menus all made from locally sourced produce. Blackrock Cafe and Bar offers an extensive list of drinks, wines, cocktails and specialty teas and coffees. There is also outdoor seating offering views over the ocean.
Free access is provided to The Ocean Fitness Centre, which provides a 30 yards indoor Swimming pool, an 20 yards hydro pool, whirlpool, sauna and steam room. There is also a fully equipped, spacious gym and daily fitness classes, some of which are free for guests.
Free parking is available, and the hotel is located on Salthill’s coast road opposite the promenade and Galway Bay. Galway Golf Club is a 10-minute walk away, and the Pearse Stadium is 5 minutes away on foot.
