About this property
Refurbished in 2016, the Shandon Hotel & Spa is located in the small village of Dunfanaghy and offers a wonderful views of the Sheephaven Bay and a luxury spa. All the rooms, the bar, the swimming pool, the relaxation room and the outdoor Canadian hot tub overlook the nearby bay, hills and countryside. The bright and airy bedrooms each have a cozy seating area and some have sea views. All rooms feature a TV, tea/coffee facilities and a private modern bathroom with a hairdryer and free toiletries. Hotel guests have free use of the leisure center which features a swimming pool, sauna, steam room, spa bath & gym. Discounted access to the luxury thermal spa is available to hotel residents. The spa is housed in a separate building to the hotel. The restaurant at Shandon Hotel & Spa serves an international menu in elegant surroundings. Shandon Bar has open fires, free WiFi and a sun terrace, and hosts live music nights. Shandon Hotel & Spa is just 3.5 miles from the beautiful Ards Forest Park. Free on-site parking is available, and Sheephaven Bay Beach is just a short walk away.
