From the friendly management and staff, to the very comfortably appointed room, to the lovely breakfasts, The Brandtwell did not disappoint in any way. A bit more about the breakfasts: the breakfasts were included in our reservation and we were able to choose from the ala carte menu. Breakfasts were specially prepared for us and they were without doubt some of the best breakfasts we have had recently. We felt that we were treated as individuals by friendly staff rather then being mass processed in a large hotel breakfast room.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Brandywell. It was a spur of the moment booking and it couldn't have worked out better. We found it very convenient to stay over a restaurant/pub. We had dinner there, which was excellent, and came down later for a nightcap and dessert. Our server, Jo, was an angel and we had a wonderful time talking and laughing with her. Breakfast the next morning was also very good. The room was quiet and comfortable and the shower was nice and hot and the room had all the necessities to get us on our way.

The breakfast was more than I could eat, and they gladly customized the meal to fit my needs. The staff were exceptionally friendly and thorough, and the owner (Jerry) was always there to make sure everything ran smoothly. The rooms and the facility were meticulously clean, with big fresh towels and comfortable bedding. Cannot say enough good things about the owner and staff of Brandywell.

Located in Dromod in Lovely Leitrim. The Brandywell provides excellent accommodation with a variety of room sizes with free wifi and parking. All guests can enjoy a freshly cooked breakfast with a variety of options. Local suppliers such as the famous Dromod boxty feature on our menu. The Brandywell offers food from 9am until 9pm seven days a week. Breakfast, lunch and dinner ( with daily specials ) You can also avail of our restaurant with a full A la Carte menu and a fine selection of wines, beers and spirits. Breakfast served from 9:00 AM - 11:50 AM

The magnificent LOUGH RYNN CASTLE ESTATE & GARDENS IS 7 minutes drive. Dromod train station is 5 minutes walk. All our guests qualify for a 10% discount for hair and beauty services in Hair and Beauty by the Shannon, Dromod (located next door) Local yoga classes ( available Wednesday and Saturday mornings ) For those looking to bring a gift home for their loved ones, Knickaty Knacks gifts and craft shop is a wonderful place to visit especially for the children.
