Do not be fooled as you step out taxi( Massage Parlour & Sex Shop) - great host, attention to detail on room fantastic, in the heart of Temple Bar but not noisy! Great place for breakfast - Panem. Just ask for Merchant House menu and you get treated like a King/Queen!

VERY characteristic room. Lovely nick-nacks all over. The owner spent quite some time with us when we checked in going over everything and giving us tips on the area.

Love this place! Excellent location. extremely comfortable bed ..great shower and beautiful interior design with unique features. Very peaceful and restful. Professional, friendly introduction .. I have disability and although ok on stairs, for some reason I was particularly breathless that day ..on seeing this nothing was too much trouble and after preparing a suite to accommodate us on early arrival an alternative suite was offered, with less stairs to the one we had booked, which was quickly and efficiently cleaned and replenished for our stay. I was very grateful for such consideration.. Wish we could have stayed longer! We will be revisiting Dublin and most certainly will return to The Merchant House.

Absolutely beautiful...has everything you need...super location, right in the middle of temple bar....very quiet as soundproofed...amazing historical room!!

Bram Stoker room was excellent. Location of guest house in the heart of Temple area is very handy.

we loved everything. the suite is large. it has everything you could need. spotlessly clean. gorgeous architecture. central location. loads of great restaurants in the area. and shopping. we hope to return and stay here again.

Our host was very friendly and informative about all the facilities… the room was fantastic and it was cleaner than clean!!!!!!

We loved how close to the centre of Temple Bar this accomodation was. We also loved the mini fridge & coffee machine. The room was very spacious, it had a lovely private bathroom, and the bed was very comfortable!

Couldn’t get any more central! Lovely clean suite with great features in a room big enough for all activities! Bed was exceptional along with a great warm walk in shower! Would recommend the Champagne package best i have ever tasted, along with the recommendation of Panem Cafe for breakfast utterly superb!

Tastefully designed and restored room. Great location. Informative staff. Excellent but separate location breakfast.

Not so much a question but a comment. From reading reviews I see whenever there’s a criticism you respond snarky. Thus I’m staying elsewhere this fallWe always respond in a factual way without frills as we present our beautiful 5 star property in a perfect manner. You can't please everyone we know that BUT some guests are totally OTT .Answered on 9 March 2022
