Sami Jabali & Silke
Our simsim backpackers hostel is located inside the souq in the historical old city of Nazareth. Fresh bread, fruit and vegetables are available just across the house. The building itself dates more than 100 years back. We kept the original style but modernized it for backpackers preferences. The reception is in the same building in the basement inside our "Liwan culture cafe". There we offer refreshments, information about the city and surrounding, art exhibitions, souvenirs, tours and talks, films and music events.
We are Sami from Nazareth and Silke from Germany. We run our house with local generosity and German thoroughness.
Most of the historically important sites are very close by. With our Liwan culture cafe we managed to bring new shine and life to the old city. Many artisans followed and now we have a small new structure of colorful shops and cafes inside historical buildings.
