What makes the place special is the people who are't just motivated by money, Vennesa serves amazing soulful guiltfree food. Lakshman is a super eco conscious being. In love with the overall experience.. I love them😘😘 really really grateful to have met them :)

Had a fantastic stay at India's first and only vegan hostel. The hostel is super clean and right in the center of the city. Lakshman, Vanessa and puddu the cat are some of the best hostel hosts you will ever meet! Their passion for clean eating, clean living, yoga, permaculture and sustainability is very refreshing. Will definitely be staying here in the future 😊

This is not just a lovely hostel located in one of the best areas of Bangalore, is also an amazing project concerned about the planet and how we interact with it. The staff is always there to help you with a big smile. Rooms are very comfortable and overall is a recently renovated house. The terrace on top is just perfect to practice yoga in the morning. If you are planning to stay in Bengaluru, this is the place.

  • Hi! Do you offer a pick up / shuttle from the airport to your hostel at 3 am in the morning? THANK YOU Larissa

    Hi Larissa, We can send a taxi out to get you but it's much easier to pick up a cab from the pre-paid taxi stand at the airport. There is also bus number 7A that will drop you at Sony World Signal Koramangala which is 10min away from the hostel by walk.

  • How long can one stay ?

    We have had long-term guests who have stayed with us for 7 to 8 months. But the reccomended stay at BeAnimal is between 15 days and 2 months. This will give you a chance to attend a few different events here like the Sunday Brunch Club.

  • Are dairy products not allowed to be consumed inside the hostel?

    BeAnimal is a vegan hostel. This means that no animal products are allowed inside the premises. This includes milk, butter, curd and ghee. The dairy industry causes a great deal of suffereing to cows. Watch the documentary Cowspiracy for more info.

  • are pets allowed? we have a 5 months old golden retriever. we want to stay for 2 nights.

    Hi. Pets are allowed during our events but not for overnight stays in the room as it might be uncomfortable for the other hostel guests.

  • Hi what if I would like a private room? Any option for that?

    It is possible but the only way is to book all 8 beds in the 8 bed dorm. Would cost about 4200 per night.

  • Do you guys have washing machine for long stays?

    Yes we do. Our washing machine has an 8kg capacity. We charge Rs.100 per load. Long term guests can use the machine 2 times per month for free.
