I am your host, Rekha Rani Singh. I am an ex-army officer's wife and love to host people.
At Dera Jaipur we arrange fun activities like mural painting, block-printing, learning traditional Rajasthani cooking, photography in traditional Rajasthani attire and kite flying during Makar Sakranti festival.
We also organise special occasions for our guests with local bards, bonfires and curated meals. In addition, yoga sessions and shopping pop-ups can be organized. All of the above can be booked by placing an advance request.

Dera Jaipur is an elegant home built in 1946 and is a leafy paradise situated in the heart of the World Heritage UNESCO city of Jaipur. It is a classic home furnished for modern times, with beautiful lawns, a terrace garden and a cosy treehouse as a quiet nook.
This heritage home steeped in the past belonged to a World War II veteran Col. Sumer Singh MBE and his wife Suraj Kunwar, who came from a nobility of Shekhawati.
Dera Jaipur is replete with frescoes that tell a story about the family history amidst the grandeur of Burma teak furniture, Murano chandeliers and vintage photographs. We pride ourselves in conjuring up delectable dishes, some of which are family heirlooms.
Jaipur is a truly iconic city meant for the discerning traveller. The Forts of Amer, Nahargarh and Jaigarh are a sight to behold and the City Palace and Albert Hall Museum give a rich historical background. Many of our guests love to start their day with an early morning leopard safari or a temple tour. Our little guests love activities like feeding the rabbits, playing board games, or playing in their very own treehouse. Learn Rajasthani cooking, block printing and much more on prior request.
