Tsewang Dorjey, and a few other young men and women of the Maan village are trained to host the guests visiting their village. Back at their homes, they host travelers in their homestays with the best services. They take visitors around the village to show the semi-nomadic lifestyle of the Changthang.

Property info

Maan is a remote village with stupendous scenic beauty and astoundingly clear night skies. Driving along the Turquoise Pangong Lake for a couple of hours you reach this remote heaven where you can be a part of local lifestyle. The stay is converted local house and the family lives within the accommodation. Village Maan is a hidden jewel of Ladakh, located on the shore of Pangong lake away from the hustle and bustle of tourist areas. Setup with an objective of preserving the local culture and generating livelihood access for the locals, the village homestay is itself a unique experience for the tourists traveling to Ladakh. The lake is located 500 meters downslope from the lake giving you a towering view of the lake

Village Maan is unique in its own way and nestled by the banks of Pangong. There are exciting experiences you can embark on during your visit to the lake. Activities (Extra Charge): Hiking to the hidden lake- up in the nearby mountains at a hike of 6 hours there is a hidden lake known only to Changpas, Village tour, Farming.
