The host family is great! Very friendly and supportive. You feel at home. View from the balcony is pretty nice. The host set up a projecter to watch the world cup and invited us to join. Very nice!

this is a really great homestay … my evening meals on all occasions were excellent, and tradition local dish . BBQ pork with fermented Soya bean …. local fish with fermented bamboo shoot . etc . the boss when out of his way to arrange a driver for my trip north … it didn’t quite work out but through no fault of his . I’ll treasure sitting in the kitchen around the fire in December for a while to come .

This is a lovely homestay in a quiet neighbourhood on the outskirts of Kohima, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The room is spacious and well appointed, with great views over the neighbourhood and beyond to the mountains. Ikehshe and Tupo are wonderful hosts who go out of their way to make sure you're happy, feel at home, and have everything you need. The food here is really delicious local food, I had all three meals prepared here daily and they were all fantastic. I would definitely recommend this as a comfortable base to explore the surrounding areas from.

The host was extremely sweet. He picked us up, cooked us extremely scrumptious food, and treated us like family. The accommodation was spotless and very comfortable. We really appreciated a comfortable stay after a really long travel involving changing two planes, and then a taxi ride down to Kohima.

Ikheshe and Tupoli are such wonderful, welcoming and warm hosts. Almost immediately on meeting them, you feel comfortable and right at home. Their home stay even though on the simpler side was very clean, cosy and well catered to all one needs when in Kohima. Views from room balcony were picturesque overlooking Kohima. Food served was fresh and excellent. For everything related to transportation and local sightseeing I had to look no further than Ikheshe for guidance. He has all the local knowledge and contacts to make one's stay truly relaxed and memorable. Overall I had a very pleasant and enjoyable time staying at their homestay.
