Find your perfect Himachal stay.. I had the pleasure to stay in this wonderful place.. Rooms are super cozy, bathrooms are spotelss clean but what's stands this place out is the interiors , traditional Himachali touch can seen everywhere ,small details goes in while designing this each rooms . If possible book the bigger room which has view of the valley .If this is not enough staff makes you feel home , also the food which not only fills your belly but also your soul.. Cherry on the top is its location, Which is right next to the bus station.. 5 stars for everything.

A journalist, a photographer, a hobby architect and a part time orchardist, I am a proud jack of all trades and a master of none. My travel writing takes me around the world. Inspired by some fascinating eco-friendly properties I visited, I recently built and opened two eco-resorts of my own , one being Meena Bagh Shimla. My passion for marine life is also a recent obsession for which I journey to wherever I can find a good reef. Astronomy and evolutionary biology are my other two passions.

Property info

With its wood and mud-plastered walls, this is the closest you get to live in a typical 'Himachali' home in Himachal. The house is part of Meena Bagh Resorts; newly opened Himachali homes, committed to eco-friendly practices. We are barely one year old but have garnered appreciation for our hospitality, design and sustainable practises from guests, media, and award committees. In Feb 2018 we were awarded by the Outlook Responsible Tourism Awards in the Best Boutique Property category.
