I had a wonderful experience at Lake N River. Most of the staff were ladies which made the atmosphere even safer and comforting. They were really polite and the food was exceptional. Overall it was worth the money.

One of my favorite parts of my trip to India. The environment was warm, welcoming, and accommodating. Food was delicious and facilities were clean. Canoe ride at sunset and sunrise was amazing.

Hospitable, helpful and friendly hosts, amazing meals, amicable dogs, free cycles, clean rooms with basic amenities. Helped with planning the activities in and around, picked us up and dropped us back from Railway station, arranged a guy for canoeing and guided him to plan as per our request. The beautiful homestay was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The room was perfect for us. The location in a small street on the island gives the island vibe we were hoping for - but still, it is easily accessible with a TukTuk. Using their free bikes you can explore the island or try local restaurants. The heart of this place is the lovely local family running this place. With joy they helped us planning our stay - organising tours, providing free bicycles and helping us with the train for our next destination. The included local breakfast with delicious Apem is very tasty and we looked forward to it. If needed, you can also get lunch and dinner on your terrace!

It's a brand new resort and quite clean. Some facilities like TV and a fan in the verandah are in the pipeline we are told. We all liked the niche dining area outside each room in the verandah. Good idea.
