Its understaffed and sometimes the reception is unmanned
IndiaNot many places where u can sleep in the Governor’s bed! And then it is straight on the beach in quaint little Tharangambadi (or Tranquebar as known to Danish people)!

Food My wife and I had the good fortune to be the only guests there for a night - the staff served us dinner adjacent to our room on the first floor balcony, with a view of the sea and the fort. It was one of our most beautiful meals together :-)
IndiaThe setting is absolutely gorgeous. Very spacious and elegant bungalow with beautiful rooms, high ceilings, flowy curtains swaying to the tune of sea. The music of the sea is a constant companion. Sea-facing rooms are highly recommended and they will cost you 50 percent more than the garden-facing rooms. There is a nice pool within the property.
