The favourite place I've visited in Vagamon is the Mottakunnu which is situated near Vagamon meadows. I stayed in Vagamon Clouds, an Apartment stay which was situated near Vagamon town. I ate from both vacation towns and restaurants on the way to vagamon. The climate is a little bit cold. It's better to keep a jacket with you. Better, order food from your stay itself if they provide you. Restaurants are very costly and the food is pathetic.

Nice nature location. Off-roading often required. Would rate it somewhat below Munnar as a vacation outing. Good accommodation and restaurants are hard to come by. A somewhat small hill-town, with limited outing areas as compared to Munnar. Just my personal opinion. Interior : Again it was well cleaned and so spacious. we can feel the luxury inside the entire villa. Last But Not The Least : Caretakers : They are one of the Finest person I have met in this travel. They made us feel like home and they cooked us a very clean and hygienic food through out our stay. If not the place, I will definitely visit them during my next visit to Vagamon.AnbuIndia

The location and setup is exceptional. The entire property is a cardamom plantation. And you get to stay high up in the mountains and get a great view.
