We travelled to Udaipur in end of January which was the perfect season but it happened to be the loooong weekend so too much crowd. Better to avoid such times. The lanes in old city are super narrow, so avoid taking the car in the lanes. best way is to walk or to take auto rickshaw up to one point and then walk around. Auto guys are super cool! They drive like James Bond:-) Most of the good restaurants are lake side. Ambrai is one of the best! Awesome view, Awesome staff, awesome food!! Do visit Artist Art shop outside Trident Hotel. They have amazing silver jewelry and other stuff like shawls, dresses, arty bags as well! 15 A.D. Cafe/ Bakery sales delicious cookies! Its a veg cafe but the food was surprisingly tasty!!
