    Puri was a nice place it is still very attractive. It is bad waste management system that is destroying Puri. Lack of supply of quality drinking water, bad sewerage system and overpriced hotels, transportation and poorly manged restaurants that is destroying Puri. It was good to see development of Swargadwar, road widening, parking place are implemented. Developments in Lord Jagannath

    A temple town cum a beach. Great place for eating sweets especially the famed Khaja, Chena Poda. A new beach called Golden Beach has been awarded Blue Flags is worth visiting. Puri is one of the most important locations for Hindus being one of the 4 "Dhams".

    Parikrama path is amazing .The temple is clean now.

    Parikrama path is amazing .The temple is clean now. Arrangements should be made to take the senior citizen on wheel chair upto the deities. Separate steel structure must be made exactly infront of deities to prevent jostling among visitors.The door infront of deities should be made wider.It is difficult to see all three deities at a time from a distance.

    Puri is very nice and good place to visit. Main attraction is the Jagannath Temple. Chilika lake is much talked about but is not good- better to save a day and money to skip chilika lake. Konark temple site is worth visiting.

    Cheating began as soon as the person entered the puri.

    Cheating began as soon as the person entered the puri. Everyone tries to rob tourists on the name of Lord Shri Jagannath in any way imaginable. The difficult part begins as soon as you set foot on the temple grounds; people immediately start requesting payment in order to get into the VIP queue. Then, for everything they accomplish, the pandas there demand money. They won't let you in or perform any kind of prayer; if they do, they'll demand five hundred or more. Apki shradha apke pass, wahaan sirf pisa matter karta hai. Kisi ke fasane me na aayen apna dimag lagayen. YouTube me vedio available hain ki kaise darshan karna hai. Best time is early morning and after 10:30pm. The way the line system works is like sending 500–600 people at a time, all of them pushing each other and crushing every Bache Budhe in the process. Be cautious of con artists operating right in front of your eyes if you decide to visit Chilika Lake. It's so easy for them to con people there; everything is business. However, the city is kept up well. People are wonderful in general.

    I'll suggest to avoid Swargadwara beach and the market of Puri. Horrible. Its dirty, no traffic regulation, noisy, unsafe to enter the beach area from main road, all broken pathway, drains overflowing, fully blocked by hawkers. Quite likely to get cheated by roadside travel agents. If someone wants to visit Puri, should stay out of main town area.
