    Its a nice and clean city.

    Its a nice and clean city. We spent one day here and that is enough if you want sightseeing only. Yes you need one more day if you want to go to Bhedaghat and Bargi dam etc. Jabalpur is comparatively cheaper than other states. But avoid to go in summer season as its very hot here.

    I did not spend much time in Jabalpur this visit but from...

    I did not spend much time in Jabalpur this visit but from previous visits I was impressed by The Narmada River and the Marble Rocks. I think that if you want to sight see in Jabalpur you are better off finding a hotel near the river or one of the Gaats on the river. The city of Jabalpur is a bit chaotic but near The Narmada it is beautiful.

    The hospitality shown by Shreyas was much More than staying in Family. it's truly Home away from Home. Co-operation during our short stay was really fantastic. Speciality homely food as required by us and offered by them is also worth mentioning. sight seeing and finally dropping at Airport arrangements were Excellent.

    It is a laid back town with an institutional air about it.

    It is a laid back town with an institutional air about it. Clean and green for the most part. It has yet to fully wake up to its tourism potential. Quaint colonial buildings are rapidly giving way to concrete towers, rather nondescript or ugly. Hopefully the Smart City projects will spiff it up, if the "I love Jabalpur" hoardings are to be believed. The Narmada Aarti at Gwarighat and the sunset cruise at Bhedaghat were the high points of the visit. Also, an hour of peaceful reflection at Paat Baba temple is highly recommended. Fish Tikka at Lakkhe di Hatti (near Madan Mahal RS) is absolutely to die for. For ooh-la-la dining, splurge at the Nagendra (new, at Labour Chowk). Overall, Jabalpur street food is hard to resist. Commuting is easy with autos and e-ricks, Uber and Ola.

    Beautiful boating experience in Bedaghat. Good roadway experience to see Duadhar water falls. Excellent marble work and souvenirs. One visit is just if you love nature, peace and happiness in harmony.

    There isn't all that much to see.

    There isn't all that much to see. But it's a good transit point to visit the lovely tiger reserves around MP. You can visit the marble rocks and the Dhuandhaar falls. Pre-book a cab from the airport or be prepared to bargain because Uber and ola are hard to access from the airport.
