The hotel building and facilities are amazing. The construction is beautiful, the swimming pools and the roof top views are exceptional. We stayed at a Suite Lake View and the room was very spacious and super clean. Very comfortable bed and huge bathroom. Location is also very good.

the staff is very nice but not enough to accommodate the service requests for the guests. During lunch and dinner, there is an approx. wait time of 45 minutes as the staff in comparison to the guest is not adequate. the food is very average, please also do check the pictures of the standard room as whats shown online is not what you get.
the hotel is very pretty and brilliant for travellers but for those going for business, the location and all is not what you would like.

“Beautiful hotel with very disappointing lake view”

Firstly, the lake view was very disappointing. You could see the lake decently, but in between the lake and the hotel, there is a big area of buildings full of clothes and dirtiness, that actually kill all the beauty of the lake view. If I would have known about it, I would have booked a suite with garden view (which is beautiful) or a premium room for half of the price. I paid 14,000 rupees for the room, way too much for that view. Secondly, the breakfast was very average, only indian items and eggs with terrible coffee. Very disappointing. They gave us late check out till 12, which is quite a joke, as the official check out time for them is 10 am. Ridiculous. After that you have to pay the full amount of the room if you want to stay longer.

Comunication and attentiveness of the staff would be the only thing I could fault. Many of the bar/restaurant staff dont speak very good English. For example we went to sit in the restaurant for lunch at 2.30pm asked for a menu a couple of times, waited half an hour for someone to finally bring us a menu to then tell us that there is no food served after 3pm. There were a few instances like that that were not a huge problem, but irritating and all easily avoidable.
Great value for money, extremely beautiful hotel, very decent size room and bathroom, good breakfast options. The rooftop pool was wonderful, the location is excellent, there were many reviews upset about the fact you cant drive to the entrance of the hotel, this is the case for every hotel in the centre of the old town. It made it a pleasant place to be able to walk around and explore all the charming narrow streets with no cars allowed in the centre (though scooters and rickshaws are allowed). Most places of interest are within a walkable distance. Definitely our favourite hotel in our month of traveling around India.

The rooms were quite dirty, you could see dark spots of dirt all over the floor. The staff was not warm at all. On booking.com it said free parking but when we were about to reach the property, the roads were very narrow and jammed with traffic. We called the hotel then and they said we had to park around 1 km from the hotel and then take an auto to the hotel. The breakfast was served in a very small area and was overcrowded with people making us feel congested. Baro masi which is the rooftop was the main reason we opted for this property and that was the only thing we really enjoyed. As a product this is a very decent hotel but lacks in maintainance and housekeeping. Has great potential and I hope the management makes necessary amends and this could be a top notch property bang in the centre

There was no wifi available in the rooms. We did change rooms as the first room 301 was by the stairs to the restaurant and near the pool filter from upstairs. It was very noisy so a lack of sleep. They did move us to the second floor which was quieter . Breakfast wasn’t anything great and breakfast staff would be better in a uniform.

The property does not offer *any* in-room dining which is a huge disappointment. There is also no in-room WiFi.
The property itself looks good and has a great pool and rooftop restaurant. But the no in-room WiFi and no in-room dining is a huge disappointment.

Amazing staff, beautiful surroundings, feels like you are in a proper palace. Loved it! Krishna and deepak went out of their way to help us with whatever we needed. Food and drinks were divine. So so happy we stayed!
