Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Nothing seemed too much for them. Restaurant staff were efficient and helped choice some meals. Location was very central to the Fort, easy walking distance.

The property is beautiful and very well positioned. You can walk to the fort from here. The restaurant serves amazing Indian food. We chose to not eat out for dinner throughout our stay. They have an open air dinner scene every night when a pair of local musicians play while everyone eats by the fireside. The restaurant staff is helpful, cheery and very polite. Their service is non intrusive yet efficient and fast. Again, food is just great (a la carte stuff). The dinner area is close to the rooms hence it becomes an activity in itself that guests do through 2-3 hrs while enjoying the fireside music.

The property itself is a magnificent heritage palace where you can spend hours walking around and admiring the architecture with no need to even leave the grounds. Museum on site is definitely worth a walkthrough. Central location within the city and a very short drive to Jaisalmer Fort. Room itself was pretty basic in terms of furniture and the bathroom, but the AC worked well which was critical in early July and everything was clean. Pool area was lovely although the pool itself could use a little maintenance. Incredible views of Jaisalmer Fort at sunset and dusk from the rooftop restaurant and the food at both dinner and breakfast was all wonderful. Staff was very friendly and attentive. At the time I visited in early July, I only saw one other family staying there the same night as me which made me feel a little isolated and uncomfortable as a solo female foreign traveler, but the hotel grounds themselves did feel secure and well separated from the surrounding city.
