The hostel was fantastic in terms of location, accessibility and comfort. A short walk away from downtown Reykjavik's hub for cafes and shops along with being close to the cathedral pick-up point for excursions, the hostel is perfect for any would-be explorer. The staff, although hardly around, were fantastic and helpful and the place was incredibly clean, warm and comfortable.

United KingdomLocation, it's around 101 Area. Walking to all major attractions and city centre in Reykjavik. The place is clean and reasonable price. We did not see any staff due to self check-in. We are content of the way the process went. The place is clean. Just lots of stairs to walk up. But we didn't mind at all. I will definitely recommend Captain Reykjavik and I will stay there again next time.
CanadaI really enjoyed my stay! It's close to the city centre and the bis terminal, bit just a 5 min Walk. The rooms are cosy and clean and located in a lovely old building with a really nice view. I would definitely stay there again! If you want it really quiet this is probably not your choice. It's an old building and you can hear the doors of every room, but there a signs everywhere to please be quiet after 22:30 and it works!
