The location was great and the laundry room downstairs was a major perk. The host allowed us late checkout last minute which was much appreciated. It was nice that each member of our party had their own room and two bathrooms were also very helpful.

United States of AmericaThe apartment was very clean and the beds were comfortable. It was well located - just a short walk to meet our tours. Close to restaurants and groceries. The space was good for a family of 4 and we liked having 2 bathrooms.
CanadaWalkable location to many famous attractions, clean and simple w spacious balcony overlooking Hallgrimskirkja. Great value in January, it was lovely to have 3 bedrooms for the 3 of us to have undisturbed rest.
United States of AmericaCheck in process and bag drop off was exactly as described in their emails so pretty straight forward- and we were even able to check in early. The rooms were the perfect size for our group (we were in 3 bdr 2 bath, and had 6 people - 3 couples) the kitchen was fairly well stocked, and there was enough seating and space for everyone to be comfortable. The location was great, we were able to get wherever we wanted with relative ease, and even the bus tour pickup spots were either at the apartments, or just up the street. There's a grocery store fairly close by as well if you plan to cook. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fairly well stocked with dishes/pans etc.

United States of AmericaThe apartment size was perfect. (Family of 6 adults- 3 couples, so we stayed in the 3 bed 2 bath). The beds were also very comfortable. The location was also great, it was really easy to get to the main Street, and close to the your bid pickup locations.
United States of AmericaI booked this place for my parents, my husband and myself. We all find this place enjoyable. The property is located in a quiet neighbourhood that is 5 minutes from the main street and restaurants. It is also one of the common pick up spots for tours. The place is clean and has everything you need. The building has washer and dryer, the unit has all basic kitchen appliances like dishwasher, coffee pot, a kettle, fridge, pots and pans and such. We were able to cook a full meal when we are not out since eating out all the time in Reykjavík can get expensive. The bathrooms are clean and spacious, with drying rack which was handy since we were drenched during our tours. The staffs are nice but we didn’t really need any of their help since the facilities are very self sufficient. I recommend families or a group of 4 to stay at this place when you visit Iceland.

One of our top picks in Reykjavík.Located in central Reykjavík, these modern self-catered apartments are just a few minutes' walk from Hlemmur Bus Station and the main shopping street, Laugavegur. WiFi and parking are free, and the airport bus stops right outside.
The Downtown Reykjavík Apartments come in a wide variety of sizes. All feature kitchen facilities, a seating area and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. DVD players are available upon request. All luxury apartment options include a dishwasher and balcony.

Downtown Reykjavik Apartments is owner operated 29 apartment business all in the same building. Our goal is the home away from home feeling for our guests. We started our operation 2010 and we are proud of the positive respond from our large number of guests. Reykjavik is a small town and DRA is very central in a quiet side street. DRA offers free parking for apartments guests on the premisses.
I traveld for business for many years and missed having apartments, this is why I enjoyed so much offering this option to travellers.
Our next door neighbours are the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, north end on both sides we have restaurants, and one minute walk to Laugavegur main street but far enough to be out of the busy noise sone
