Wonderful room but the "private" bathroom that we asked for is outside of the room! In any case the bathroom was big, well equipped and clean and it wasn't too much of an issue having it outside of the room. The kitchen was amazing. Very well equipped with everything needed. Common room was comfortable. Right next to the Secret Lagoon which we didn't go to because of other plans but a good location.

Small house with four rooms just off the entrance to the Secret Lagoon. Room had a shared bathroom with one other room. Also a lounge area with couch, chairs and dining tables. Large kitchen with fridge and all appliances plus designated fridge shelves and kitchen drawers for each room so a great place to do your own cooking. You still have to purchase entry to the hot pool, but get unlimited entry during open hours (10am - 8pm). The pool is very crowded all day so don't expect to ever have it to yourself. Disappointed we couldn't get an early morning soak before it opened to the public. Otherwise, a nice, quiet (at night), ultra-clean place to stay. Couple minutes drive into Fludir for grocery store or a couple dining options.

The guesthouse was located adjacent to The Secret Lagoon, so was perfectly located for our needs! It was a lovely guesthouse, with a kitchen, living room area, information table and a good sized shared bathroom. As it was off season, we were the only guests, so had sole use of the guesthouse amenities.

Loved the spaciousness and cleanliness! We were right in the secret lagoon facility. We were able to have a very relaxing 2 days before we headed for Reykjavik. The lagoon personnel were very accommodating! They let us stay for 30 more minutes after check out. Would definitely be back and book this place again!!! It is truly a hidden gem!

Let’s not forget about the garden (hence the name Garður, which in Icelandic means “garden”). All this right next to the oldest swimming pool in Iceland, the Secret Lagoon. Garður was built in 1934, on the same yard as Secret Lagoon (www . secretlagoon. is). It is a clear benefit to be located so close to this amazing place. One of the biggest attractions in the area, the oldest pool in Iceland, is available for our guests * during the stay time & during Secret Lagoon's regular opening hours! Reykjavik city center is just 104 km away. Gullfoss & Geysir, the most famous geyser in Iceland, is only 25 km away. *** Check-in from 15:00 to 19:00 by the SECRET LAGOON reception desk.
