Friendly staff. They offer a delicious, homemade dinner feast consisting of soup, main dishes, and desserts - well worth the $ for the food offered as well as the experience. The rooms themselves are very modern and new.
United States of AmericaWe picked this hotel due to its location just south of Dettifoss east. It was easy to access and comfortable. There are only two bathrooms for five rooms, but everyone was respectful so this worked well during our stay.
FranceThe host was very friendly, check in was smooth, they managed to move all of us in one building while the original booking was in two different buildings. We were very happy with that. The buffet dinner was very iceandic and we had an oppotunity to chat with other travelers.

United States of AmericaThis place is truly beautiful and well located between Eastern Iceland and Akureyri, and a short drive to the falls to the north. The rooms are comfy, clean, and have great views (ours did anyway). The kitchen in our building was well appointed and had we known we would have been more ambitious with what we bought at the grocery store. :)
