Like others said, you walk into the office/bank building and the rooms are upstairs. Check in was easy; key was in the door when I arrived. A very nice place to crash last minute. Right off the main road. We had a harbor side view, but there is a little balcony for everyone staying here that looks out directly at the mountain. The wifi didn't work when we first arrived but the staff was super prompt at fixing it. If you have any problems or questions I'm sure you'd get a quick response. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The studio was fantastic. it contained a sleeping room, private bathroom, and a kitchenette. There was a shared balcony outside as well. The TV had no channels, but Netflix access was available which was great.

Very good location if your are staying in Grundarfjordur. Rooms are very well equipped with small fridge and small cooking facility. The view from the room was spectacular with mount Kirkjufell and the see directly in front of us. We met one of the owner down stairs a very pleasant guy but otherwise no other staff.

We stayed one night. The room is very new, spacious, modern and very clean. The location is perfect, only 5 minutes’ drive to Kirkjufell. Supermarket, gas station, breakfast cafés and restaurants are in walking distance from the hotel. The room has a well-equipped kitchenette and Netflix. Th owner was available by phone. We were positively impressed by the owner´s hospitality.
