Myrkholt is a newly renovated property located in the unspoiled landscape of the Icelandic Highlands. Situated in the famous Golden Circle between Gullfoss and Geysir, this property is the perfect base for exploring Iceland. Myrkholt has six cozy rooms, each equipped with private bathrooms. Guests can take advantage of the well-equipped self-service kitchen, spacious shared dining room, and outdoor barbecue facilities. Please note that this area is relatively isolated, so make sure to do your grocery shopping beforehand if you intend to cook. Surrounded by nature, the rooms have mountain views, perfect for those seeking relaxation and adventure alike. Hiking and horseback riding trails to the geothermal springs at Great Geysir, Haukadalur Forest, and Gullfoss Waterfall conveniently start right in front of the hotel.
