Spacious, light filled, with comfortable beds, a great shower and living area. Very clear directions once we located the apartment but our flight was late and we had to retrieve key before midnight when office would be locked for night. It made it a little stressful, but not a problem in the end. Owners very quick to communicate by email and phone during working hours. Very well situated apartment, close enough to downtown but not in the middle of party zone. Comfortable, quiet, and all the amenities needed. Highly recommended.

We had a bit of a problem with the code. It wasn't the fault of the owner, I just didn't get the end of the email that included the code. We called and resolved the problem. They also let us get into the apt early since we arrived early in the morning on an overnight flight. Tha apt was spacious and comfortable. The location was awesome, close to restaurants and services, all within walking distance of the apt. The tour bus stop, number ten, was very close and we had to use it for all of our tour pickups. Very pleased!

Nordic apartments was located close to the city centre- less than a 10min walk. Facilities were perfect. We were a group of 6 and had all the kitchen utensils we needed to cook meals, towels were provided and a good entertainment system for the rainy days when we couldn’t do much.

We found everything was great for us, there was a small problem with the fob for lifts but we just used the stairs so didn't cause us any problems.
We were two couples on a holiday. The apartment had everything that you need for a great stay. The apartment was clean and comfortable. We had breakfast in the apartment but went out for all our other meals but you could have made all meals in the kitchen if you wanted. We found the apartment was easy to find and easy walk to pubs and restaurants. The bus stops for all our trips were close by which made everything very easy. (bus stop 9 or 10 )

The apartment was cold upon arrival and it took aprox 6 hours to get into an acceptable temperature. The floor and general cleanliness were not spotless as the last time.
This was our second time at the apartment. The flexibility on the check in and it’s location made it again a perfect stay at Reykjavík downtown.

Nothing we didn’t like
Nordic Apartments are exceptional, warm and welcoming spacious and has everything you need for a short or longer stay. The hosts are excellent and very helpful. The balcony was a great addition allowing access to outdoor space. The apartment was very comfortable for the 6 of us. The number 9 & 10 bus stops are next to the apartment. Great for pick up and drop off’s for excursions. The bonus supermarket is a minutes walk, it is very reasonable and much cheaper than the supermarket across from bus stop 10. I highly recommend staying here, and will when we next return. Brilliant apartment very reasonably priced compared to others. Huge thank you to our hosts, we had a wonderful stay.

The key/sensor to the elevator didn't work (not fixed), the sink and the shower were clogged (fixed), there was too little tissue on the bathroom considering the days and that we were 7 adults (fixed), and there was no plastic for garbage (did not report this).
The location is superb, it's in the shopping street and very near bus stops, restaurants and shops. The apartment was very spacious. Easy to contact the host.

These were very minor inconveniences! 1. There was no toilet paper holder 2. We would have liked some facial tissues - Icelandic weather = runny noses! 3. It would have been nice to have a few extra towels or face clothes Overall it was still a fantastic stay!
Location was fantastic! The apartment came with everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. The instructions provided to get the keys and access the apartment were great. 10/10 would stay here again!

There was only one set of keys so as we were travelling as a group of 5 it was a little annoying as the place was like forth knocks (however this made the place safe!) - it was only a minor annoyance when it came to nights out or people wanting to go different places in separate groups. The utility room had something rotten in it - whether it was a rotten mop or something damp which left a bit of a funky smell when you first walked in but again - we got over this as it wasn’t throughout the entire apartment and it didn’t have an impact on our stay.
Great location and easy to find when you get off the airport bus. Right at the bottom of the Main Street where all the restaurants and bars are but sound proofed so no on street noise. Warm and clean and easy to access the keys etc following the instructions the owners sent. Owners were very helpful and responsive to questions when contacted Apartment was spacious,clean and comfortable
