The scenery…. View is absolutely amazing We had a private wooden cottage with view of the fjord and seal colony… what more can you expect… oh yes a nice welcoming by the owner 😀

We had a great stay in Ösar cottage. Very good location, comfortable beds and kitchen with full equipment. Owner was very friendly and helpful. There is a nice place to watch seals or walk on the beach. Highly recommend

Quiet hostel at a rural location. Has all the necessities and adjacent store for small foods and drinks/tea/coffee/alcohol. Hvitsker and seal colony are nearby and provide a pleasant walk in the evening time (and in the gale and horizontal drizzle). The place is off the ring road and remote from nearby towns, but I wanted to stop here after a long day driving, otherwise would not have come.

Osar Hostel has a great location with a view on the Ocean and the mountains (from the rooms on the upper floor). It is really quiet and the bed are good. We could change ours rooms as we arrived early in the afternoon. Thanks! We saw many seals at the beach, on the other side of the river. We could talk about horses and Iceland with the owner in the early evening, it was very interesting! Thank you!
