It has a truly Icelandic character, unlike the large 'international' style places, was impeccably clean and we were warmly welcomed with help about our stay whenever we asked for it. It is right by the bus station and just at the end of Langavegur, one of the oldest streets in Reykjavik and full of cool shops and bars, leading us to the old town centre in 10-15 minutes. The breakfast is excellent and the reception is always open. We would love to return to Iceland which was amazing, and would definitely stay here again.”“”

“Super charming place, antique style. The room was big enough, bathroom had enough shelf space to put down clothes and toiletries. Bed was comfy, the pillows were soft and fluffy, big enough for good support. There was a wardrobe, a beautiful desk and an armchair, and free wi-fi, all you need. Everything was clean. The breakfast was simple but very tasty, a bun with several different toppings and egg or tomato, and lovely skyr with granola, juice and coffee/tea. The hosts were friendly, chatty, told some fun jokes and good bits of trivia about Iceland. Located very close to the city centre, very close to a bus stop, and totally walkable distance from bus terminal.”“0”

“Lovely little hotel with lovely owners who happily share their knowledge about Reykjavik and Iceland. The rooms are very charming and clean, the hotel it located just a few steps from Hlemmur, one of the two big bus stations in Reykjavik from where you can easily get wherever you want. When you follow Laugavegur east from the hotel, you get to the shopping area of the capital. All in all a great place to stay, the only small drawback being the location, which isn't in the inner centre of the city, but some 15 minutes walk away. Will happily come again.”“0”
