Located in a historic house in central Húsavík, close to all major services. Stay at Borgarhóll in Húsavík, a historic building from 1895. Built by Dr. Jón Sigurðsson, it once housed Húsavík's first drugstore. Known as Læknishús, Grímshús, and Písa (due to its leaning chimney), it's been called Borgarhóll since 1905, likely after an old sod farm. The site is believed to be where Svavarsson from Sweden built Iceland's first house.
Centrally located, just steps away from the harbor and a variety of restaurants. GeoSea is a short 5-minute drive or a beautiful 30-minute walk to the impressive sea baths.
