Got stuck here for 3 days during a storm. The actual hotel Post seemed like it wasn't open, but we were checked into the Blafell hotel next door which was great. The lounge was very comfortable and a good place to spend 3 days inside. Staff were super friendly and fun to chat with!

Nice hotel, we had two small rooms close to each other. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was ok. Decent breakfast, they only keep enough food for the people in dining area. Everything was fresh and if requested they provided plates, heated our dinner etc.

The rooms are quite small but I found the beds comfortable. There is plenty of hot water for showering. The sitting area, which is also where breakfast is available, is beautiful, well decorated, with an incredible view of the river valley and mountains beyond. We were lucky to have a rainbow show up for us as well. The breakfast is typical for Iceland. The coffee was excellent and they had a coffee machine in addition to the carafe of coffee.
