Set on a farm 5 mi from Grundarfjördur, this modern guest house offers a 9-hole golf course, plus free Wi-Fi and parking. Snæfellsjökull National Park is 40 minutes’ drive away. Sudur-Bár Guest house’s bright, simple rooms have either a private bathroom with shower or an in-room sink and separate shared bathroom. Studios with kitchenettes and TVs are also available. Guest house Sudur-Bár’s breakfast buffet can be enjoyed before setting out for Stykkishólmur, 25 mi away. From there, the Baldur ferry departs for the Westfjords and Flatey island.
