couldn’t say enough great things about this place! great location and tons of space! free breakfast was a huge bonus. the first night we stayed we were the only guest, second night there was another set of guest staying on the opposite side of the building. hot tub was amazing!
United States of AmericaDue to road closures we had to frantically book two hotel rooms somewhere on road 1 at the last minute. Lambafell was available and I booked it without reading reviews. The place was phenomenal. Rooms were spacious enough (we had two twin beds pushed together, what we asked for), the bathroom was spacious, the shower was great. Check-in was simple (I had received the codes for the key lock boxes via e-mail). Everything was clean. The continental breakfast had a decent selection of food available. The hot tub was right outside our room (we had a door leading to it, actually) and while that could be a downfall if guests are rude, we had no issues and definitely enjoyed seeing the stars and the Northern Lights from the warmth of a hot tub. There are two amazing waterfalls nearby. I wish we had stayed here a few days prior, we stayed somewhere nearby but nowhere near as nice.

It is situated just at the base of a beautiful mountain, and the balcony off our room gave us a gorgeous view of the surrounding landscape. The room itself was extremely comfortable - extra blankets and pillows for everyone, a mini-fridge for our food supplies, and plenty of space. Breakfast was great as well - the staff was very helpful and attentive. We especially appreciated the contactless checkin/checkout process. We ended up stranded at the hotel for one day of our stay due to dangerous weather conditions, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to hunker down. We even got some use out of the hottub before the storm rolled in! All in all, we had a fantastic time at Welcome Lambafell and would definitely book again!

Breakfast was very good with a lot of choices. There is an area where it is possible to have at any time coffee, cappuccino or else for free.
