We adored our time at Il Pozzo; when I go back in my mind to where I most want to return in Italy, it is to this quiet, beautiful place in Cilento, with Donatella's satisfying dinners and friendly face, the kids splashing in the pool, walking in the olive trees, chatting with Gerardo by the trees, going to seee the bunnies and goats in the barn. We felt completely at home and cared for here, and fell in love with all of it. Our apartment by the pool was just heavenly. Was it perfect? No - the beds were a bit hard, the air conditioning was adequate but not great, the shower was too small. All the same, these complaints seem unimportant considering the enormous gift I was given in being able to spend 4 nights here. We felt like we'd found a second home and can't wait to return.

The Location and accommodation's where amazing! But what made this stay memorable were the owner and his wife. They truly care about the people staying in their establishment. They cooked dinner and breakfast. They noticed that I wasn't eating the typical Italian cakes they had prepared for breakfast and they offered to cook me eggs and they provided me a meat and cheese platter!!!! I'm truly torn I want to tell everyone about this place but I also want to keep it a secret!

Beautiful surrounding area and very friendly staff. We paid extra for the evening meal which was a real highlight. A vegetarian option was very kindly provided for my daughter. The host, Gerardo, was very kind in providing lifts from the train station on our arrival and again on our departure. We walked to the beach and local supermarket but this did take around 40 minutes each way - no local taxi service. Lovely pool

We loved the hosts Donnatella and Gerardo and also all the other staff members. They were exceptionally friendly and we felt very welcome. Gerardo always made sure we feel comfortable and it was a real chance for us to practice our Italian. The whole place is made very beautifully and we really liked that our little apartment was a little bit by itself. We booked the rate including dinner and breakfast and we absolutely loved that everything was homemade by Donnatella and that the food almost only comes from their own farm. It was exactly what we were looking for.

The Agriturismo is located in a beautiful landscape surrounded by hills and near to the sea. It has a huge area with nice houses, surrounded by olive trees, and in the beautiful garden you can find delicious figs and other fruits - and very friendly dogs. The pool is quite big and clean - perfect for a swim - also surround by a nice garden and with a nice view on the beautiful landscape. Breakfast and dinner are involved, with delicious and fresh food and wine, prepared with the products from the Agriturismo. The people are very welcoming and friendly. All in all, the agriturismo is a perfect place to stay for a couple of days, where you can relax and enjoy the nature with good food and wine!

Great and super friendly staff. Home baked pastry for breakfast and also a very nice dinner each evening. Our apartment was cleaned daily which is maybe even a bit too much. Very nice pool and quite large.
