Stunningly beautiful surroundings in a great location near Volterra. Your hostess is very personable with good local suggestions. The apartment was quaint, spacious, clean, and well-appointed. The breakfast room is welcoming with panoramic views of the countryside. They serve a SERIOUSLY generous breakfast. Fresh apple cake, walnut cake, carrot/orange juice, homemade fig jam, hard-boiled eggs, fresh bread, pastries, fruit, cold cereals, yogurt, espresso & coffee. This was a spur of the moment stop. We will be back!

Claudia, whose family owns and runs the winery and accommodations, couldn’t be a better hostess. Her English is excellent, she is warm and accommodating, and she is happy to help in whatever way you need. The scenery is beautiful and they take great pride in running their winery, in which the accommodations are located. The breakfast is very good - bread, cakes, fresh fruit, meats and cheeses, great cappuccino freshly made by Claudia on request, and the best, fresh juice we have ever had. The room was large and clean. The bathroom was good sized, clean and updated. The shower is a bit small but worked well for us. They have a washer and dryer you can use at no additional cost. We hope to come back and stay here again. Also take the winey tour and tasting - well worth it!

We simply loved everything about this place. The location is excellent and the view is stunning. Volterra and other small towns very close perfect for day trips. The property is authentic but modern at the same time, very clean and comfortable. The host Claudia and her mom went above and beyond for our well being they are doing this by heart you really feel welcomed and like home. I recommend to take both the wine tasing and the cooking class. Super fun and informative activities. We enjoyed every second of our stay and will return for sure!

•The gorgeous location in the middle of the Tuscany hills. •The lovely view from the large windowed breakfast room overlooking the hills. •Being at a winery where we could see how they work. •Only a short 10 minute drive to Volterra •Our lovely hostess Claudia who went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable – even buying vegan soy products for breakfast for one of us who is vegan. Claudia was available to answer any questions and tell us about her work as a winemaker. Most people drive and love seeing the beautiful Tuscany landscape of rolling hills and small farms. Here you get to actually stay in one of these beautiful farmhouses! For us this was also a great base for day trips to Sienna, Lucca & Pisa, Volterra, San Gimignao, Val de Elsa and drives through this gorgeous area. Even when it rained, we were able to enjoy a glass of wine and read a book under the covered patio at Marcampo.

Impeccable. Not your average stay in agriturismo. Ivana, Claudia and Genuino are professional hosts with long experience, Podere Marcampo could be considered a boutique hotel, with excellent rooms and facilities, good breakfast with breathtaking view, all in an outstanding location a few minutes from Volterra.

Amazing quiet family run farm stay near to Volterra centre. Room and bathroom were spacious with a pool with a view. Wine tasting and family restaurant were both brilliant and not to be missed! Claudia goes out of her way for guests and couldn't be more welcoming.
