I loved staying on Murano.
I loved staying on Murano. It was less crowded than Venice itself, especially at night and early mornings. I was able to take a glass working class and visit a furnace to see how the glassblowing masters work, which was very interesting. It felt like staying in a small town with easy access to Venice, Burano, and the airport.

The main streets of the island get very crowded during the day. However, move a little away from the crowds and it becomes peaceful.
After the day trippers have gone even the main streets become quiet.

We really enjoyed staying at the glassblowers' island of Murano, as a basis for visiting the city of Venice. It's a small and very peaceful island with mostly day trippers from the city, and a few nice bars and restaurants along the waterside. The boat into Venice runs frequently and we even got some spectacular views of the Dolomiti mountains. After a day of visiting the city we enjoyed being able to retreat back to the peace and quiet of Murano for the night.

A beautiful quiet island with easy and regular ferries to Venice and the other islands. In October once the many little shops closed at 5, the evenings were very quiet with just a few restaurants open in week nights. Friday night far more open. A great find if you want to see Venice but want to escape the crowds and see more of the other islands.
What an absolute gem. The best accommodation I have ever stayed in. I am so not staying in hotels anymore. I have booked 3 self catering places for this trip, and this was by far the best. Not that the other were bad, but Murano Suites(Amethyst) was the best.
Yes, Murano do roll up their streets at 4PM, and Monday to Wednesday there are hardly any places open to eat at night, but that makes for a relaxed environment. Day-trips from Murano is also easy.
Will definitely be back.
It was one of the best accommodations I've stayed in. Great as a base for exploring the other islands as well as Venice itself. You can relax better on Murano than in the city, yet the close availability of a vaporetto stop allows you to get everywhere quickly. The flat is well equipped and very comfortable. What I liked most was the large, comfortable bed and the spacious bathroom. In addition, it was incredibly clean. I would recommend to anyone for a short or long stay.
It’s a very nice and cosy hotel. Great atmosphere and they nailed hospitality! but like, everybody was super friendly and helpfull, from cleaning ladies to waiters to frontdesk staff. The restaurant has a relaxed ‘lay-back’ ambiance. We enjoyed our stay to the best.
Murano is a place to avoid the crowd from venice city after 18h. There’s not a lot to see/to do in the evening. The boatstop in front of the hotel with a 24h waterbus to Venice is very convenient.
Fantastic warm welcome, arrived to be presented with nice cold beer and wine while the transport to and from Murano and the local restaurants locations were explained by an excellent English speaker. The property is at a secluded location very close to the Vaporetto stop making access easy. We were able to leave our bags at the hotel post check out which enabled us to go exploring unencumbered, it felt like nothing would be too much trouble.
I really enjoyed my stay at Comfort Murano Room. It's perfect if you want to get away from the tourist crowds in Venice. The room has everything you need, including a comfortable bed, mini fridge, kettle, even a panini maker! The shower is the largest I've seen in Italy and there's plenty of hot water. You can even hear the waves lapping up the side of the house at night. There's a very easy self check- in system. Highly recommended!
Simo, the host, was from the beginning very strong communicator- he picked us up from Venice island with his own boat :) the room was very spacious and clean, there also was a breakfast prepared in the fridge(optional) we could leave our luggage after check out without a problem. the area murano is very beautiful and quiet, a must after the turist overload in Venice. Very recommended!
A nice small hotel on the island of Murano. There you can relax after going to see the main sights in Venice. It’s very well connected both to Venezia and the airport, vaporettos go very often and it’s very convenient. The room is beautiful. The personnel is very nice and helpful. Overall it’s a gem on Murano and I hope I will come back there one day!
The location on the island of Murano was fabulous. The island is peaceful and beautiful - away from the crowds of Venice but easily accessible by water bus. The apartment is clean, quiet, and comfortable. It was great to have a kitchen and a washing machine. We loved staying there and would happily stay again in the future.
The property owner had a kind young lady meet us at the Murano boat stop and guide us to our apartment and she also answered any questions we had regarding the apartment or Murano. Also the apartment is very large and comfortable, clean, and next to the canal and St Peter church of Murano.
The hosts were very helpful. The apartment appeared to be brand new and was very stylish. It was conveniently located a 100 meters from the main shopping area in Murano.
A great way to visit Venice and it's satellite islands.
The hotel staff were extremely lovely! The hotel has a lot of character, and the room was perfect. Great location in Murano- very close to some places to eat and to a Vaporetto stop. The breakfast was very good as well!
Simple but elegant, spacious, sunny. Located in a quiet corner of murano, but close to 2 ferry stations, with easy access to Venice. Very pleasant and comfortable stay overall.
