The restaurant at the hotel is excellent. The rooms are basic but comfy. Shower room was goog and with decent sized towels ! The local parking is safe once you know where it is !

Hotel Bologna is small and friendly and has been run by the same family for the last 60 years. There is a bar here and the restaurant specialises in traditional regional cuisine. Rooms at the Bologna are all air conditioned. They come with TV and minibars, some have a balcony. Varese's attractions are all walking distance away and good bus links are available.Varese Train Station, located a 10-minute walk away, offers connections with Milan.
