The location was fantastic, right at the entrance to the city, the owners and staff were very kind and helpful, and the hotel has an old world charm that felt embracing. I loved the breakfast buffet each morning with coffee and eggs made to order. Super value staying here. And request a room with a balcony! Mine was amazing, had beautiful valley views. I will stay here again next year.

Location montepuliciano is a hill town. Be aware that this hotel is at the bottom of a very long climb up to Palazzo grande but there are several wonderful restaurants on the street Hotel is very clean our triple room was actually a suite of two rooms. Very spacious Staff is great. Breakfast outstanding

Elaine United States of America

Very good staff, helpful and welcoming. Everything spotless, very clean. Triple room quite spacious. Comfortable beds and pillows. Bathroom clean and bright. Enough towels and toiletries. The overall style of the hotel old Tuscan, though common spaces are nicer than the actual rooms. Nice breakfast: several cheeses and cold cuts, omelette if you want it. Unusually for Italy, very modest choice of pastry and fruit. The hotel is very well situated in the historic part of Montepulciano.

Irina Georgia

This hotel was amazing - from cleanliness to the warm welcome and extraordinary customer service. I got a little sick during the trip and they went out of their way at night to make all these different remedies for me, as I wasn’t able to get any medicine from the pharmacy. They also had a such a cute welcome setup for us with a wine, as I had told them this is our honeymoon stay. We stayed there for 3 nights and had absolutely no complaints. The room, bed, washroom, floor, everything was so clean - it met the standards of someone who’s a neatfreak like me lol. They were also so accommodating with providing us breakfast outside the breakfast hours. I’d definitely come back here if I could, especially for the beautiful balcony view we had.

Lovely hotel! The location was great and the building was beautiful. The breakfast was delicious and very generous

Laura United States of America

Very conveniently placed right on the entrance of the old town. The staff was very helpful despite their very limited English. They registered our car and gave us a free parking spot right in front of the hotel. Our room was comfortable and spacious enough for four people. Much more tasteful than the pictures too.

Panos1 Greece

The staff was very helpful with parking. The breakfast was amazing. Well situated for touring Montepulciano.

Michael United States of America

Two years ago we came to this delightful hotel and nothing has changed; we even got the same room. The women who run and work at this hotel are wonderful, and it's like visiting family. The breakfasts are outstanding and you get to meet some pretty interesting travelers. Be prepared though, this is an old hotel that requires you to do a lot of hiking on marble stairs. In sum, a great place just inside the North Gate.

D% United States of America

Hotel was a bit tricky to access (walled town!) but parking for the motorcycles was much appreciated. All of the old town was within easy and pleasant walking distance .. and down hill to get back to the hotel!

Deborah United States of America

Breakfast was simply perfect for "sweet eaters". Parking available is a super + for being in city centre.
