The location is very good. I don't think we were 100 yards from the Ponte Vecchio but the street around us was quiet. There were some good restaurants around the hotel also. The staff was very nice helpful and informative. The room was really big by European standards for the price, spacious, and keep in mind this building is from 1507. Its old timey but it adds to the ambience of the stay. Breakfast was very good too.

The staff here was so inviting and hospitable. Ipwe felt like family. The hotel room was very large and inviting with antique Bed was exceptionally comfortable. The view from our window included an old bell tower and a leak of the river. Breakfast was served as a buffet and was well stocked with specialties of the area.

The location is obviously great, only one block from the Ponte Vecchio bridge. The room was much better than I expected for the price. What pushed it up to excellent was the friendly hotel staff. The staff helped make dinner reservations and had maps to guide us to places we were going. All around, it was a wonderful spot right in the heart of Florence.
