Fantastic location in the historical centre of the city. Very quiet street. Spacious and very clean apartment. Friendly and helpful owners.

- there was no AC in the 2 bed bedroom (but there was a fan)

- close to the Main Street - close to the bus station (buses to Amalfi etc) - 20min to the ferry that goes to Amalfi etc - fully equipped kitchen - they gave us food for breakfast (croissants, cheese, ham, milk, water, juice etc) Overall really nice apartment and very welcoming and helpful owners ☺️

The apartment is located in the heart of the old town. There are many restaurants and entertainment venues nearby. The seafront and ferry are a few minute's walks away. The apartment is in a recently renovated building. The apartment had a variety of drinks, coffee, and snacks to start your day. The apartment has all the amenities. The host Carlo is very careful. He booked us a parking lot and welcomed us on arrival. He took us to the apartment, and when we left he took us to the parking lot again. The host made our stay unforgettable, with the help of which he provided us.

Amazing place in the middle of the old town! It's super cozy and located on a back street so it's relaxing and quiet. Extremely friendly host picked me up from the parking where I left my car and took my back the morning after! Definitely recommend it to everyone!

I enjoyed the great escape experienced by ensconcing oneself in an Italian old town area and having a feel of the traditional Italy, the real Mediterranean. I can heartily recommend it for self renewal.

Nothing but it is worth mentioning there are stairs to access the accommodation both externally and internally - they were not a problem for us!

Carmela & Salvatore went out of their way to help us including picking us up from the secure garage parking that they had arranged at our request! Not realising how narrow the streets are in the old part of Salerno, choosing the garage parking was the right choice - street parking close to property would have been difficult. Carmela brought us fresh milk and butter plus laundry liquid as we had left our in the car! Carmela is delightful, happy to help very friendly and eager to practice her English. The perfect hostess.

Wow, what can I say....I cannot fault this B&B or staff at all! I was met with the friendliest of welcomes and into a beautiful, large apartment with all the amenities and comforts I can think of. I will return 100%.

The only small thing is that the key to the room, like many keys to old buildings in Europe, is a bit tricky to use. We had to message our hosts on the first night to come upstairs and help us, but once we got the trick, it was fine! It was also great that they responded and helped so quickly.

We had a large area to ourselves - clean and comfortable, with a large bathroom and kitchen/dining area (though we weren’t around enough to use it). Good wifi and aircon, though the rooms are generally cool on their own. Breakfast is served in a cafe down the road, which is really sweet - a very local experience to perch on a stool with a coffee and a cornetto as Salerno residents go about their morning. It’s about 20 minutes to the station, which is a bit of a push with luggage, but it’s a very flat and direct route. It’s also a leisurely 20 minute walk down the promenade to the ferry stop to go to Amalfi and Positano. The BnB is also close to the cathedral in Salerno, which I recommend checking out. What really made this place special was the hosts. Carmela is so lovely. We had a bit of confusion with language barriers and our lack of wifi connection which resulted in her husband waiting for us at the train station for an hour to pick us up while we walked!!! We felt to terrible but Carmela was so nice about the whole thing. We also really appreciated the cold drink on arrival on a hot day. Carmela gave us directions around Salerno and recommended a restaurant nearby that we really enjoyed. Overall, we loved our two nights here and wished we had a host like Carmela everywhere!
