An outside stone staircase with a small terrace seating area leads to the cozy living room with fireplace and open kitchen; below are the two bedrooms - each with bathroom - one of which has an exit to the terrace. The hamlet is situated on a small hill in a quiet, wooded side valley. It has its own little church as well as modern sculptures - a place for artists and individualists! A little above, guests have access to a well-maintained pool area with sunbathing lawn and tennis court for shared use with other 20 apartments. In the surrounding area there are interesting excursion destinations: To Siena it is 30 km, to Monte San Savino and to the warm thermal baths of Rapolano about 15 km, Arezzo 35 km. Nearest village with bar, restaurants, stores: Ambra 6 km. The last 1.5 km of the access road is ascending gravel road, not suitable for low-slung cars or sports cars. From here you can easily reach both the Chianti area and some of the most beautiful parts of Tuscany such as Valdorcia, the mountainous region of Casentino and Pratomagno and the nearby Chiana Valley. There are riding stables about 4 km away and a polo club 10 km away.
