Casa 300 is really in the heart of Venice: from here you can easily go everywhere. Crossing Rialto bridge and walking in the Mercerie (the street of the fashion stores) you can arrive in Piazza S.Marco in 15 minutes, you can visit the Rialto Market (from Monday till Saturday) to buy fresh food and, round the corner, you'll find Pizza take away, bars, supermarket, pharmacy,pastries and cakes shop. Do not forget to visit the sumptuous Basilica dei Frari with masterpieces by Tiziano and Bellini( 10 minutes away) or the small but very nice Romanic Church of S.Giacomo di Rialto (for the Venetian "S.Giacometo") the oldest of Venice, at the bottom of the bridge. A curiosity: near the apartment you find the S.Polo square, the largest open space in Venice after Piazza S. Marco, where, at the end of the 18th century women washed and spread their clothes using the big ancient well .

Casa Trecento. So I like to call my little shelter in Venice because it is part of one of the first settlements in Venice, dating back to the late 1300s and early 1500s. It is located in the area of ​​the famous Rialto Market and a short distance from the homonymous bridge . Warm, cheerful and welcoming, my apartment consists of: a well-equipped but traditional kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed, a living room with a mullioned window and a bathroom with a small bathtub with a shower. Free WI-Fi. The entrance of the house, in antiquity used as a shoemaker's shop, remained as it once was, with a herringbone brick floor and exposed brick on the walls. The structure of the house, the wooden beams and the Venetian mosaic floor, have been cleaned and restored, respecting the original type. The additional charm is to be found in the paintings and sculptures, works of those who once transformed this house into an artist's lagoon retreat. Leaving them at home is an act of affection towards us and of trust in our guests.
