This agriturismo is nestled within vineyards, about 20 mins drive from Valley of The Temples. The rooms are spacious, with a lovely view (ours had a perfect sunrise view), and the food they serve is the best we've had over a week in Sicily. Dinner is 35 euros per pax, with a veggie option available; a starter, a first course, second course, and choice of desert. You can opt to add on their own wine, also superb. We look forward to their breakfast every morning, as the cakes - orange, lemon, apple, chocolate, are all excellent. The service is warm but non-intrusive, and having a fridge and strong air-conditioning for the hot days was really helpful.

Elegant B&B occupying the top floor of a small block of flats facing the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento. Easy to find, good restaurants very close, staff very friendly, rooms good size, very clean and comfortable. Good breakfasts. Ten mins easy walk to the Eastern entrance to the historic sites, easy to walk the length of the ancient city, emerge at the Western entrance, and then walk back to the B&B via the excellent museum.

I have been to Agrigento several times, it is always a great please to go back. This time I also visited the Kolymbetra gardens and Pirandello"s house in Caos, both places exceeded my expectations

We liked the size of the room and the view from the terace. There was a refresment waiting for us (coffe, juice, water,small cake). Room was clean, nice smell. But we spent there a night in January and the heating was not working. I wanted to reheat by warm shower, but there was not enought hot water to even wash my hair. I was frozen and catch a cold over the night. The bed was very noisy with each small move. The window was oposite to a building, very dark inside. All I will remember is dark and cold room. Shell I add how long we were looking for a place to park the car in those tiny streets?

We visited here because we wanted to see the Valley of Temples. We ended up adding a day to our visit to explore the city and relax at Villa Athena Resort, which is really near the archelogical site. Agrigento has many great restaurants and patisseries to help you increase your waistline. Many shops to buy nice clothes and jewelry on the main street Via Atena. We loved the old town with narrow streets and many intimate piazza’s. We found it a bit difficult accessing and using public transport so we walked everywhere. Everything of archeological interest was quite close, the churches were beautiful but a little more subdued than most. The food was delicious, our air bnb host was excellent. We visited Agrigento to see the valley of the Temples and we were not disappointed. We visiting in our own car and so concerned about parking. Parking at the valley was easy with lots of room and a machine which accepted cash and cards to pay for the parking, which was not expensive. Pay the 6 Euros to get a hand held guide in your own language, it tells you everything about each temple and the ancient Greek city (Akragas). You can see the whole site in a day.

Andrea, like our other Hosts throughout Sicily made us feel instantly welcome providing everything we needed to settle in quickly and visit the beautiful surrounding area. He made sure we had everything possible in our room to be comfortable in the late summer heat. I cant recommend this location enough if you plan a stop at Agrigento and the valley of the temples, I doubt you'll find better.

The facility is beautiful and I wish we could have stayed longer. We were there traveling through Sicily and wanted to see the valley of the temples - which is close by and you can actually see from the property. Breakfast was fantastic - all homemade and like everything else, the service was excellent. The dogs, and peacocks and birds added to our enjoyment. There would be no point in staying anywhere else in the Agrigento area.

Their welcome is so generous and helpful, and I was genuinely embarrassed by the incredible breakfast they had prepared for us ( local foods, specialties, and treats). I would welcome them to stay with us as friends, but who would leave the life in Sicily for the rain in England for a holiday? It is very homely but stylish and there is everything you could need. It is in a central location and parking is available. Agrigenta is a wonderful city and I wish we had longer than one night but this was a spur of the moment stay on our trip around Sicily.
